The Results Foundation is dedicated to assisting organizations that hold non-profit 501(c)(3) status and focus on empowering people in our local communities through education, housing, and mentorship programs. We receive many requests for donations and carefully consider each submission. Please be sure to review the information below prior to submitting a request.
What information do you need for a donation request?
When submitting a request for a donation, please send a letter/email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the following information:
- Name of organization and contact info
- Proof of 501c3 status
- Description of the organization and its mission
- Amount requested and how the funds will be used. If possible please note if the donation will go towards operational expenses, program/project support, start-up costs, etc. (Event sponsorships may be considered for donation but in an effort to ensure our funds have a direct impact on the communities we serve, donations towards programming and specific initiatives are preferred)
- If more information is needed, a meeting may be scheduled to learn more about the organization and its request.
How and when are donations decided?
The board will review all requests for funding on a quarterly basis (March, June, October, December). At these meetings, proposals will be reviewed to determine if the organization/request fits the Results Foundation mission. Applicants will be notified after the meeting as to whether or not their request can be accommodated.
What is the average donation amount given by the Results Foundation?
In the past, the Results Foundation has donated anywhere from $250-$10,000 for various initiatives.
Are there any restrictions?
The Results Foundation funds approved 501c3 organizations in Minnesota and Wisconsin and is not able to contribute to individual persons, fraternal, labor, or political groups.
If your organization meets all of the above criteria, please send a letter of request to email@example.com.
